Agree on the point of establishing the foundation from young. The challenge may be on what is the best way to support parents (especially fathers) to address or engage in such topics. I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful group of fathers (Dads for Life / Bapa Sepanjang Hayat) which could offer a safe platform for fellow fathers to openly speak and share their own experiences - which could include the handling such situations.

I think role modelling is key. Parents could take this lead by managing our own access and exposure to online platforms, and show the value of engaging with knowledge and others - beyond the screen. Whilst immediate gratification offered by online engagement may be difficult to overcome, parents could instead show how offline education and entertainment is actually more fun, and allows for greater social, emotional and sensorial engagement.
